We are an architectural practice based in Mittenwald founded by Tianyu Zhu and Sebastian Laub

Our long-standing collaboration, which began in 2017 with our first joint projects, led to the establishment of Zhu Laub Architekten GbR in 2025. With 15 years of professional experience in various fields of architecture, we are passionately dedicated to the design and realisation of challenging buildings.

Our office is located south of Munich in the mountain town of Mittenwald, 920 metres above sea level. Our area of operation extends from the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Munich.
